November Yoga & Book Club

A little movement. A good read. Room for connection.

November 16, 2026 · 7:30 p.m. EST · Live on Zoom

Making Room

Gratitude for others. Kindness toward ourselves.

Join us for approachable yoga, reflection, and relaxed conversation. We’ll begin with gentle yoga, then settle in for time to explore November’s theme and share thoughts from our reading and everyday lives. Sharing is always optional.

This month, we’ll explore gratitude through connection: appreciating the people who enrich our lives, making space for someone new, and remembering that our own needs deserve care, too.

Optional Reading — Choose Your Companion

We recommend reading at least one of the following books to enrich your experience, but reading is optional. Choose whichever appeals to you:

  • The Book of Delights by Ross Gay — Short essays celebrating ordinary wonders and everyday encounters. A good option for reading a little at a time.
  • The Comfort of Crows by Margaret Renkl — Seasonal reflections on backyard nature, joy, and grief. An option for those drawn to noticing and appreciating the world around them.
  • Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting: A Novel by Clare Pooley — A warm, humorous story about strangers whose shared commute becomes an unexpected community. An option for those who prefer fiction.

These selections vary in subject matter and adult content; choose according to your reading preferences.

Bring your thoughts from a suggested book, your own related read, or everyday life. No finished book required—our shared theme gives everyone a way into the conversation.

A question to bring:

“What does making room—for others and for myself—look like in this season of life?”
